Organic Cheeses in Pollença

We are Sa Cabreta, farmers, and producers of artisanal organic cheeses.

WHO WE ARE?

Formatges Sa Cabreta is born out of the need of young individuals to return to their rural roots, leaving behind the world of tourism in 2019, just before the COVID pandemic. This marks the beginning of our journey through uncertain times of pandemics and new normals. We continue to fight every day to give values and dignity to our profession, trying to pass on to our youth everything we learned as children that is now fading away.

 

At Sa Cabreta, we advocate for organic agriculture, in harmony with nature, not exploiting the land's resources without giving anything in return.

HOW WE DO IT:

To make our products, we use the milk from our Murciano-Granadina goats, which we raise with the utmost care. We craft our cheeses entirely by hand, ensuring that each piece carries the essence of our surroundings at every step, maintaining quality. All our cheeses have a natural rind, adding a unique personality to each piece.

WHERE WE ARE LOCATED?

We are situated in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, at the foothills of Puig Tomir, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2011. This rugged terrain and unique climate in the world contribute to everything we are. Our goats feed by grazing in this environment, resulting in excellent milk.
